mcp server

Want to ask Claude or ChatGPT about your budget? Here's how MCP works for YNAB, Monarch Money and FamilyJar, what official and community servers really give an AI access to, and how to pick a safe setup.

FamilyJar is one of the few budgeting apps with its own official MCP server. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code to your family budget, log expenses in plain language and ask where the money went, with no bank login and nothing to install.
